Enhanced functionality and performance with the Pico DeviceNet communication interface module
Take advantage of the new DeviceNet Communication Interface module, 1760-DNET, to let your Pico controllers communicate over DeviceNet. The 1760-DNET, provides advanced device level networking functionality for the Pico and Pico GFX™-70 controllers, allowing your Pico to satisfy applications requiring distributed control and I/O on DeviceNet. The Pico DeviceNet Interface can provide new opportunities in applications such as material handling conveyor control, lighting systems, building automation applications, and many more.

You'll be able to operate your Pico controllers as a slave device on DeviceNet. Just connect the DeviceNet Interface module to the expansion connector on the controller (Pico EX or Pico GFX-70), like an expansion I/O module. It can be used with Pico 18- and 20-point controllers (Series B or later) and with the Pico GFX-70 controller. 24V dc power must be provided to the device. The DeviceNet Interface is equipped with Network and Module status LEDs.

Excellent detection capabilities from the 42EF RightSight teachable fixed focus & standard diffuse photoelectric sensors
When your application requires the durability and performance of a full-featured photoelectric sensor but distances are shorter and space is tight, take a 90° turn to RightSight photoelectric sensors. RightSight takes many of the features of the Series 9000 and puts them in a smaller, more adaptable package to deliver excellent detection capabilities where size and shape matter. These photoelectric sensors combine universal voltages (24–264 V AC/DC) with short-circuit protection across the full voltage range.

Fast response time & easy installation from the 42CM LaserSight metal-bodied laser sensor
Ideal for long range applications, this laser-based sensor accurately detects small objects and registration marks. Packaged in an industry standard 18mm cylindrical metal housing, the 42CM LaserSight offers three sensing modes--transmitted beam, diffuse and polarized retroreflective--allowing the 42CM LaserSight to be used in a variety of complex applications.

The 42CM LaserSight addresses long range applications that standard photoelectric sensors cannot, offering sensing ranges up to 50m in Transmitted Beam, 30m in Polarized Retroreflective mode (by comparison, a standard 42CM Polarized Retroreflective has a sensing distance of 3m) and 300mm at 2X margin for the Standard Diffuse. In addition, the eye-safe Class 1 visible red laser simplifies sensor alignment, especially when compared to traditional photo sensors that use an invisible infrared beam.
